About The Position

Silgan Dispensing is part of a global company that produces injection-molded parts for leading brands. The Assembly Associate builds sprayer units by assembling and inspecting components, following established procedures, and ensuring finished goods meet quality standards. The role involves operating production or assembly machinery, using a barcode scanner, keeping production records, and maintaining equipment in clean condition. This is a full-time, in-person position with an 8-hour shift. Day, evening, and overnight shifts are available; holidays and weekends may be needed.

Requirements

Experience running assembly or production machinery.
Good understanding of quality control principles and procedures.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
High school diploma.

Nice To Haves

One year of manufacturing experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

Read and comprehend instructions and follow established procedures.
Collect all materials and equipment needed to begin the process.
Visually inspect components used to build sprayers and finished goods for quality.
Take precision measurements to ensure components fit correctly.
Select or modify components according to measurements and specifications.
Align materials and assemble parts into more complex sprayer units.
Check output to ensure the highest quality.
Maintain equipment in good, clean condition.
Keep records of production quantities and time.
Use a barcode scanner for parts and finished goods.
Report issues, malfunctions, or defective parts.
Follow other job-related instructions and perform other job-related duties requested by a supervisor.
