About The Position

Silgan Dispensing is part of a global company that produces injection-molded parts for leading brands. The Assembly Associate builds sprayer units, inspects components and finished products, operates production equipment, and maintains production records and equipment. The role is full-time, in person, and scheduled for an 8-hour shift. Work may be required on holidays or weekends as needed. The listed shift options are day shift (7 a.m.–3 p.m.), night shift (3 p.m.–11 p.m.), and overnight shift (11 p.m.–7 a.m.). Requirements

Experience running assembly or production machinery.
Good understanding of quality control principles and procedures.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
High school diploma.

Responsibilities

Read and comprehend instructions and follow established procedures.
Collect the materials and equipment needed to begin the process.
Visually inspect components used to build sprayers and inspect finished goods for quality.
Take precision measurements to ensure components fit properly.
Select or modify components according to measurements and specifications.
Align materials and assemble parts into more complex sprayer units.
Check output to ensure quality.
Maintain equipment in good, clean condition.
Record production quantities and time.
Use a barcode scanner for parts and finished goods.
Report issues, malfunctions, or defective parts.
Perform other job-related duties and follow job-related instructions requested by a supervisor.
