Assembly Manager Opportunities Multiple Shifts Available (1st, 2nd, 3rd) Full-Time On-Site Leadership does not begin with a title. It begins with how you support the people around you. As our Roxboro operation continues to grow, we are looking for Assembly Area Leaders who are ready to take the next step in their leadership careers. The Assembly Area Leader serves as a hands-on leader within an assigned production area. This position supports the Supervisor, guides employees through daily priorities, and helps the team meet safety, quality, and production goals.

Requirements

  • Experience working in manufacturing, production, assembly, warehousing, or a similar environment
  • A strong safety mindset
  • Good communication and listening skills
  • The ability to provide direction respectfully and clearly
  • A willingness to coach employees and help them improve
  • Reliability, consistency, and a positive attitude
  • The ability to remain calm and solutions-focused when problems arise
  • The confidence to communicate concerns to the Supervisor
  • The ability to work alongside employees while also helping lead the area
  • Flexibility to support overtime and changing production needs

Nice To Haves

  • Experience as a Team Lead, Trainer, Lead Operator, Cell Leader, Crew Leader, or informal leader is preferred
  • Formal supervisory experience is not required. This opportunity is ideal for employees who have shown leadership potential and are ready for greater responsibility.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Supervisor with daily operations in an assigned assembly area
  • Help communicate production goals, priorities, and changes to employees
  • Lead by example in safety, quality, attendance, teamwork, and productivity
  • Assist with shift startup activities and daily employee assignments
  • Train and support new employees as they learn their jobs
  • Coach employees on standard work, quality expectations, and safe work practices
  • Answer employee questions and help resolve day-to-day production concerns
  • Monitor work progress and communicate concerns to the Supervisor
  • Help identify safety risks, quality concerns, material shortages, and equipment issues
  • Support changeovers, workflow adjustments, and staffing needs
  • Encourage teamwork and help maintain a positive work environment
  • Recognize employees who are performing well and provide constructive feedback when improvement is needed
  • Help employees understand expectations and how their work affects the larger team
  • Support documentation, communication, and follow-up as directed by the Supervisor
  • Help identify employees who may be ready for additional training or future leadership opportunities
