The Assemblers in Stevens Point, WI safely and efficiently assembles a variety of sub-assemblies according to customer requirements, print specifications, and production requirements. Responsibilities include assembling products, operating machinery, conducting quality checks, and maintaining safety and cleanliness standards.
Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. on a regular basis and stand for long periods of time
- Able to use hand/power tools, measuring equipment such as gages, calipers, indicators, scales, and tape measures
- Able to communicate effectively, and understand verbal and written instructions
- Basic computer literacy

- Previous work experience in a production or industrial environment
- Able and willing to learn new tasks and train in other positions
Responsibilities
- Assemble products and package components using hand and power tools, following verbal and written instructions, including blueprints
- Perform a variety of tasks/roles throughout the day including set up and operate various machines, or equipment
- Conduct required quality checks and complete required documentation (e.g.., scrap sheets, logs, data gathering, first/last piece inspection reports)
- Use computer for production-related tasks such as data entry and creating labels
- Operates various material handling equipment such as power pallet jacks, lifts and packaging wrappers
- Performs multiple tasks, and rotates from position to position as required in the production process
- Use appropriate PPE for the task assigned
- Regular attendance and ability to work overtime
