About The Position

Volt is immediately hiring for Assembler in Fresno, CA. We are seeking dependable and detail-oriented Assemblers to join our manufacturing team in Fresno, CA. In this role, you will produce components by assembling parts and subassemblies using hand tools and production equipment. The ideal candidate will be able to read blueprints and assembly instructions, inspect products for quality, and work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Previous assembly, manufacturing, production, or mechanical experience preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination.
  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to work with hand tools.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents, blueprints, and assembly instructions.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good visual acuity, including depth perception, peripheral vision, and color differentiation.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble components, parts, and subassemblies according to specifications.
  • Read and interpret assembly instructions, diagrams, schematics, and blueprints.
  • Position and align components manually or with hoists as required.
  • Use hand tools and production equipment to assemble and repair products.
  • Inspect parts and materials to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Test completed products and identify defects.
  • Maintain inventory of parts, materials, and tools used during assembly.
  • Follow all company policies, procedures, and work instructions.
  • Maintain tools and equipment used in the assembly process.
  • Keep workstations clean, organized, and well maintained.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production goals.
  • Identify defective materials or products and follow established procedures for handling them.
  • Follow all company and industry safety requirements.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during the assembly process.
