About The Position

YBI Recruiting is hiring 2nd and 3rd Shift Assemblers on behalf of a premier manufacturing partner that designs and builds equipment supporting utilities, telecommunications, and other essential services. The organization emphasizes American-made quality, craftsmanship, and community impact.

Assemblers prepare and fit components, follow work instructions and safety and quality practices, and learn to operate equipment in their department. The role may involve rework and moving to other production areas as needed. Some positions require automotive electrical experience.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to work 2nd and/or 3rd shift.
• Some positions require automotive electrical experience.
• Skilled in using hand and power tools.
• Ability to read and understand technical documents, including engineering documents and schematics.

Nice To Haves

• Vocational technical school certificate in a manufacturing field.
• Hydraulic and electrical (automotive wiring) skills.
• Experience in the utility industry.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality and timely workmanship on each job performed.
• Read blueprints and hydraulic diagrams.
• Read and understand a tape measure.
• Perform rework as required.
• Follow established safety and quality policies and practices.
• Learn and follow work instructions and job qualification requirements.
• Prepare and fit multiple components together.
• Learn and operate all equipment within the department.
• Move to other areas of production as needed.
