About The Position

The Assembler position is part of the Production Department and reports to the Area Lead. This role is responsible for meeting production requirements, including becoming and retaining IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 certifications. Key tasks involve reading and understanding documentation, component identification, dep aneling, taping components, prepping, stuffing, and ensuring proper product tagging, bagging, packaging, and labeling according to specifications. The role also requires accurate and timely computer transactions and the ability to navigate multiple software applications. Additionally, the Assembler may assist the Shipping Coordinator and is responsible for shipping per work instructions and customer requirements.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. person as defined in ITAR, 22 CFR 120.15 (U.S. Citizenship or Legal Permanent Resident) and defined by 8 U.S.C. 1101(a) (20)
• Good verbal and written skills
• Basic computer skills
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize and perform multiple tasks effectively

Nice To Haves

• Paint/taping experience is a plus
• IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 certified
• 2 years production environment experience

Responsibilities

• Become IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 certified and retain those certifications
• Meet production requirements
• Read, understand, and navigate in Fusion/Factory Logix documentation
• Pass the Component Identification quiz
• Depanel per work instructions
• Learn to tape off small components with masking tape for conformal coat process
• Perform prepping, stuffing
• Assist the Shipping Coordinator as needed
• Ensure that all products are tagged, bagged, packaged, and labeled properly and in accordance with customer and/or shipper's specifications
• Responsibility is to ship per work instructions and customer requirements
• Perform all computer transactions accurately and quickly
• Ability to navigate several software applications
