About The Position

Wires and assembles electrical/mechanical products according to written instructions, drawings, or diagrams.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum one year experience in manufacturing environment.
• Technical competence.
• Basic ability to read design specifications, technical drawings and bill of materials.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays as necessary.
• Must be able to read design specifications, drawings, and /or wiring diagrams.
• Must be able to wire simple electrical/mechanical products according to specifications.
• Must be able to work over 40 hours a week as necessary.

Nice To Haves

• 2-3 years’ experience in wiring preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assembles electrical/mechanical products or sub-assemblies according to written instructions, or by following drawings or diagrams.
• Wires electrical and automation products, panels, cabinets and sub-assemblies according to written instructions, or by following drawings or diagrams.
• Operates hand tools, power tools and production equipment.
• Maintains the highest level of quality on all production output.
• Assists in monitoring inventory.
• Assists with quarterly and annual physical inventory counts.
• Responsible for working safely at all times and maintaining a safe work area.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
