About The Position
Accratronics is seeking a day shift Entry-Level Assembler to join the site Operations Team in our Assembly departments. This position will report to the site’s Director of Operations or Glass Seal & Potting Manager and will be located in Burbank, CA. Day Shift is Monday - Friday, 6:00am – 4:30pm.
Requirements
- 0 - 2 years experience in deburring, potting, or aerospace machining setting.
- Minimum High school education or equivalent.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- High level of attention to detail and ability to learn quickly.
- Ability to communicate with others effectively in both written and verbal fashion.
Nice To Haves
- Machinist trade certification a plus.
Responsibilities
- Complete various adhesive potting applications
- Examine surfaces in order to find defects. Remove defects and smooth uneven surfaces
- Deburring, cleaning and removing sharp edges on product parts
- Work with HAAS machines to grind surface imperfections of parts
- Deburring, cleaning and removing sharp edges on product parts
- Work alongside floor supervisors and leads to adhere to production schedules on parts
- Work alongside quality control personnel, concerning parts or jobs being worked on to maintain the highest quality assurance possible.
- Train under department Lead to learn assembly functions
