About The Position
The Assembler supports production targets by following established systems and processes. The role uses machinery and equipment on the shop floor and requires reading and interpreting technical diagrams and instructions to assemble products, systems, and panels. This onsite position contributes to ABB’s Smart Power Business Unit in Senatobia, Mississippi, and reports to the Integrated Product Unit Manager.
Requirements
- 0–6 months of experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
- High school diploma or certificate required.
- Ability to communicate in English and Spanish.
Responsibilities
- Assemble semi-finished or final products, systems, and panels, including packing when integrated with production lines.
- Perform assembly work manually or using light hand tools.
- Carry out regular quality testing as part of a defined production process.
- Follow standard operating procedures and maintain a clean work area.
- Use shop-floor machinery and equipment, and read and interpret technical diagrams and assembly instructions.
