About The Position

Entry-level mechanical assembler responsible for assembling components, parts, or subassemblies into finished products. The role may also involve marking parts, packaging products, and boxing finished items. A&R will train new personnel in the position requirements.

Requirements

• Good manual dexterity.
• Ability to read and understand instructions in English.

Responsibilities

• Interpret blueprints, work orders, and assembly instructions to understand product specifications and material requirements.
• Locate and organize parts, fasteners, and tools for each production run.
• Count and verify parts against the bill of materials before beginning assembly.
• Align components manually or with positioning fixtures before fastening.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized machinery to connect parts.
• Make minor manual adjustments to ensure parts meet blueprint requirements.
• Conduct visual and dimensional inspections using precision measuring tools to check components against blueprint and job order requirements.
• Notify supervision of any damage or discrepancies.
• Mark parts, package products, and box finished products as needed.
