About The Position

The Assembler assembles industrial air compressor and vacuum products with engineered controls, maintaining focus on safety, quality, productivity, and customer expectations. The role includes mechanical assembly, electrical and plumbing tasks, testing products, and preparing finished units for shipment. Pay increases are provided at 60, 180, and 360 days.

Requirements

Basic mechanical skills and ability to perform mechanical tasks using hand tools.
Basic electrical skills, including control wiring and motor wiring.
Basic plumbing skills, including copper tube flaring and thread taping.
Ability to use a tape measure.
Ability to lift 50 pounds.
Ability to stand for 50% of the workday and to walk, kneel, and stoop during the day.
Strong communication skills.
Computer literacy.

Responsibilities

Assemble and disassemble mechanical components.
Use tools including drills, ratchets, wrenches, screwdrivers, wire cutters, ferrule guns, and hammers.
Perform control wiring and motor wiring.
Perform copper tube flaring and thread taping.
Follow test procedures to ensure units work properly.
Prepare finished units for shipment.
Maintain good housekeeping in the work area.
Use a pallet jack to move material.
Complete tasks within the allotted man-hours while maintaining a high level of work ethic.
