About The Position

Connectronics Corp., a U.S. manufacturer of specialized electronic connectors and cable assemblies, is hiring an Assembler in Toledo, Ohio. The role produces assembled electronic and cable assemblies and subassemblies. The position follows production drawings and work instructions, or verbal instructions, to assemble smart electronic components and cable assemblies using small hand tools. Experience is not required; the company is willing to train the right person. A resume is not required, but job history is required for consideration.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Visual acuity and ability to distinguish colors.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as blueprints, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Strong manual dexterity and gripping ability with both hands.
• Attention to detail, organization, and consistency.
• Dependable attendance.
• Interest in learning tasks and jobs.
• Openness to changing work methods to accomplish assigned tasks.
• Job history is required for consideration; a resume is not required.

Nice To Haves

• Assembly experience is a plus, but is not required.
• Non-smokers preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow production drawings and work instructions, and/or receive verbal instructions regarding duties to be performed.
• Assemble smart electronic components and cable assemblies using small hand tools.
• Crimp, solder, cement, press, or perform similar operations to join or secure parts.
• Perform assembly tasks such as encapsulating, sanding, cleaning, epoxy bonding, stripping, and/or stamping.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized working environment.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
