About The Position

This role is responsible for ensuring cylinders are properly assembled according to drawings, blueprints, and test instructions. The assembler will use various tools to assemble, test, and tag cylinders, and must be familiar with both small and large hydraulic cylinders and sealing systems. Maintaining a clean and organized work area, observing safety at all times, and performing other shop-related duties as needed are also key aspects of this position.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Able to prioritize jobs
• Able to work a minimum of 40 hours per week
• Mechanical background
• Ability to read basic blueprints
• Able to read a tape measure and calipers
• Ability to lift 50 lbs
• Attention to detail is critical

Nice To Haves

• Prior heavy assembly experience a plus

Responsibilities

• Ensures cylinders are properly assembled according to drawings, blueprints, and test instructions on work orders
• Uses hand tools, overhead cranes, pneumatic assembly tools, and torque wrenches to assemble cylinders
• Assembles, tests, and tags all cylinders
• Operation of 5000 psi test stand
• Familiar with small and very large hydraulic cylinders and sealing systems
• Clean and organize work area daily
• Observe safety at all times
• Any other shop related duties as needed
