About The Position
Rotork is a global flow control and instrumentation company. The Assembler works at a manufacturing site to help ensure product quality and safety. The role builds parts and assemblies for electro-pneumatic transducers and related controls products, tests products for conformance, safety, and quality, and supports inventory accuracy. Work includes reading engineering prints and wiring diagrams, operating machinery and assembly fixtures, using hand and electric tools, inspecting components, repairing faulty production and customer-return items, entering information into a computer, and preparing product documentation and labels. The role follows company health, safety, and environmental guidelines and policies.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a similar light electro-mechanical assembly role.
- Ability to spend ample time on one's feet for work purposes.
Nice To Haves
- Manufacturing or shop experience is strongly desired.
- Basic working knowledge of MS Office applications.
Responsibilities
- Build parts and assemblies for electro-pneumatic transducers and related controls products.
- Apply and read engineering prints, work instruction sheets, bills of materials, tooling cards, and agency approval guidelines.
- Test products for conformance, safety, and quality control using HSE guidelines and policies.
- Operate equipment, tools, and assembly fixtures.
- Repair faulty production items and customer-return items.
- Report operating difficulties to the immediate supervisor.
- Perform computer entry as necessary.
- Generate appropriate product documentation and labels.
- Support inventory accuracy.
- Inspect components used for assembly.
