About The Position

The Assembler is responsible for assembling mechanical and electromechanical components, subassemblies, and finished products in accordance with work instructions, engineering drawings, and quality standards. This role utilizes hand tools, hardware, wiring components, and assembly fixtures to build products safely, accurately, and efficiently while supporting production goals and customer requirements.

Requirements

  • Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions, assembly drawings, and visual work instructions.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive tasks for up to 10–12 hours, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 40 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous manufacturing, assembly, production, warehouse, or related experience preferred.
  • Experience using hand tools, power tools, and basic measuring devices preferred.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to work within manufacturing systems and software.

Responsibilities

  • Follow written work instructions, visual aids, and assembly drawings to complete assigned assembly operations.
  • Assemble mechanical and electromechanical components, subassemblies, and finished products according to specifications and quality standards.
  • Install hardware, brackets, panels, fasteners, wiring, cables, and other components required for final assembly.
  • Use hand tools, power tools, barcode scanners, and assembly fixtures safely and effectively.
  • Verify proper component placement, alignment, fit, and assembly quality.
  • Perform basic inspections to ensure assembled products meet workmanship and quality standards.
  • Report material shortages, defects, equipment issues, or process concerns to leadership.
  • Accurately complete required production and material traceability documentation.
  • Maintain component inventory at workstations and notify appropriate personnel of replenishment needs.
  • Work effectively as part of a team to meet production schedules and quality objectives.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with 5S standards.
  • Adhere to all company safety, quality, and security policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
