Assembler 2 (Conversion)
About The Position
As an Assembler 2 in MKS’s Sensor Department, you will assemble and test units. Applicants must be current MKS Inc. contingent workers holding an Assembler position and current temporary employees placed at MKS. The role involves electronic, electromechanical, and mechanical assembly of assemblies and subassemblies. Work includes following or determining the sequence and methods for wiring, installing components, hand soldering, and cable harnessing; setting up and adjusting equipment to meet blueprint tolerances; and potentially testing equipment and products. The working environment is a cleanroom.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of job-related work experience.
- Must be a current MKS Inc. contingent worker holding an Assembler position.
- Must be a current temporary employee placed at MKS.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Windows-based computers.
Responsibilities
- Perform a wide variety of electronic, electromechanical, and mechanical assembly operations on assemblies or subassemblies.
- Determine and/or follow methods and sequence of operations for wiring, component installation, hand soldering, and cable harnessing on assembly units.
- Make setups and adjustments while holding tolerances to blueprint specifications.
- May be responsible for testing equipment and products.
