About The Position

This role is responsible for assembling units according to specifications, ensuring quality and accuracy throughout the process. The Assembler will read and interpret technical documents, perform various assembly tasks including mounting components, tubing, plumbing, and sheet metal, and conduct quality checks.

Requirements

• Ability to read and interpret bills of materials (BOM) and blueprints.
• Proficiency in checking parts against BOM for accuracy, including serial numbers, voltage, and phase.
• Experience in mounting components such as compressors and condensers.
• Skill in cutting, bending, and brazing tubing using proper techniques (nitrogen purging, wet rags) and following standard procedures.
• Ability to assemble plumbing fittings and thread pipes.
• Experience in cutting and installing insulation.
• Skill in assembling sheet metal cabinets.
• Ability to perform quality checks, including verifying dimensions against prints.
• Experience with leak checking lines and component connections.
• Understanding and adherence to company rules and policies (safety, 5S, attendance).
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Commitment to maintaining high productivity and quality workmanship.
• Responsibility for maintaining a clean and organized work area.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret bills of materials (BOM) and blueprints.
• Check parts against the bill of material to confirm all parts are received and correct; check serial numbers, voltage, phase, etc.
• Assemble units: Mount compressor, condenser, and other components.
• Cut, bend and braze specified tubing to inlets and outlets of components, using proper brazing techniques (nitrogen purging, wet rags, etc.) and following standard DTS procedures.
• Assemble plumbing fittings and thread pipes.
• Cut and Install insulation as specified in BOM.
• Assemble sheet metal cabinet.
• Confirm quality by checking dimensions of the unit against the prints (height, width, inlet, outlet, feet, etc.).
• Leak check lines and component connections for leaks.
• Observe all company rules and policies, i.e. safety, 5S, attendance.
• Participate and work in a team atmosphere.
• Maintain high productivity and quality workmanship.
• Responsible for keeping work area(s) clean and free of clutter during work time and at the end of shift 5S time.
