About The Position

Vactor Mfg. is hiring an Assembler for its second shift to assemble components and sub-assemblies according to drawings and verbal instructions. The role performs electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical applications and requires maintaining a clean, safe workplace. Overtime commitment is required when needed. The starting rate is $30.41 per hour. Relocation services are not offered.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of mechanical assembly experience and strong mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to read blueprints, hydraulic schematics, diagrams, and build tickets.
• Ability to operate an overhead crane, hoist, and miscellaneous air and electric hand tools.
• Ability to work in prolonged postures, including bending, stooping, kneeling, walking, standing, and squatting, while performing job tasks.
• Ability to climb ladders.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
