About The Position

Donaldson is hiring a Team Member (Welder) to fabricate Industrial Air Filtration systems at its Nicholasville, Kentucky location. This is an onsite second-shift role, Monday through Thursday from 3 p.m. to 1 a.m., with a $1 shift differential for these hours. The position involves fitting, welding, and detailing equipment assemblies made from sheet and structural steel, while following safety, quality, environmental, and transportation procedures.

Requirements

Prior welding experience and/or welding certifications.
Ability to read blueprints.
Ability to fit and tack-weld weldment assemblies.
Ability to operate industrial fork trucks and overhead cranes.
High school diploma, GED, or previous experience.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future immigration sponsorship.

Responsibilities

Work safely and observe all environmental, health, and safety rules.
Fit, weld, and detail equipment assemblies made from sheet steel and structural steel.
Set up and operate different types of welders.
Read blueprints and follow written and verbal instructions.
Use mechanical ability, work instructions, and hand tools to complete daily tasks.
Complete quality checks and required paperwork.
Handle and transport product.
Comply with DOT, HAZMAT, environmental, health, and safety policies and procedures.
Use designated personal protective equipment as required.
Perform other duties as assigned to support company objectives.
