About The Position

The Assembler fabricates, repairs, and assembles compressor packages according to Flogistix specifications and standards. The role primarily involves component assembly and may also include operating fabrication equipment, including airless paint sprayers, grinders, saws, drills, power tools, and hand tools. The employee may perform other duties assigned by the supervisor.

The Assembler works both independently and integrally with other employees and reports to the Fabrication Production Manager. The position requires following supervisor instructions and EHSS policies and procedures, working with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency, maintaining a clean shop and work area through daily housekeeping, and inspecting and caring for tools and work areas.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Some understanding of painting and pipe fitting.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to use measuring devices and tools, including tape measures, squares, and levels.
• Ability to operate lifting devices, including an overhead crane.
• Ability to follow supervisor instructions and EHSS policies and procedures.
• Ability to work in hot or cold environments.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Punctuality and a strong work ethic.

• Keep the shop and work area clean by performing daily housekeeping duties.
• Inspect and care for tools and work areas.
• Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor.
