About The Position
The Assembler safely assembles JLG/Jerr-Dan equipment by following detailed instructions from Supervisors and Group Leaders. Assemblies vary in size and product and involve mechanical, electrical, and manual tools. The role is based in a manufacturing or production environment and requires precision, attention to quality, and adherence to safety practices.
Requirements
- Ability and willingness to work overtime as needed, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to meet business and production demands.
- Maintain regular and reliable attendance in person and on site.

- At least 6 months of experience in the manufacturing or general labor industry.
Responsibilities
- Assemble parts, wires, hoses, and hydraulics on JLG/Jerr-Dan products using power tools and manual techniques.
- Install product accessories such as decals, mud flaps, cameras, and lights.
- Safely operate an overhead crane to position parts.
- Use hand and pneumatic tools, including wrenches, hammers, and torque guns, accurately.
- Measure accurately using tools such as tape measures.
- Drill and tap holes for wires, hoses, and small components.
- Identify required options using schematics, blueprints, and Standard Work Instructions.
- Lift and stack subassemblies and parts, including solo lifts up to 35 pounds and team lifts up to 60 pounds.
- Crosstrain and work in multiple assembly areas as needed.
- Follow written and verbal instructions precisely.
- Maintain attention to detail to meet quality standards.
- Keep a clean, safe work area in compliance with safety rules and 6S standards.
