Summary: Performs assembly and manufacturing operations for consumables and accessories according to established procedures and quality standards. This position supports the entire manufacturing process, including assembly, testing, inspection, packaging, and documentation. The Production Assembler reports to the Production Supervisor or Production Manager and works collaboratively with team members to meet production goals.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or its equivalent.
  • Able to follow instructions and established guidelines to perform the functions of the production area.
  • 1+ years work experience
  • Some math skills, i.e. positive/negative numbers, decimals, some addition and subtraction
  • Ability to use a variety of hand tools

Responsibilities

  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) to assemble and package products ensuring that product specifications are met.
  • Operate production equipment to assemble new and revised products.
  • Inspects raw materials, components, and finished products to verify quality standards are met.
  • Reports product defects, equipment issues, or process concerns to the Production Supervisor.
  • Assists with product testing, inspection, labeling, and packaging as required
  • Completes required production records, batch records, and other documentation accurately.
  • Maintain workspace in clean, organized, and safe manner.
  • Participate in the investigation of production problems with equipment or processes.
  • Follows all company policies, safety procedures, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), as applicable.
