About The Position

The Assembler is responsible for assembling component parts for Allegion’s Von Duprin products in a manufacturing environment. The work requires following approved specifications, blueprints, or schematics to assemble products accurately and precisely. Assemblers rotate among multiple stations, gaining experience across the assembly process while contributing to the production and distribution of safety exit devices.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 3 months of manufacturing experience.
• Basic math and communication skills.
• Experience performing quality inspections or Total Quality Checks.

Nice To Haves

• At least 6 months of assembly experience.
• Experience using power and hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Rotate through multiple stations during a shift to maintain alertness and readiness.
• Communicate effectively with other assembly-line stations to support speed and accuracy.
• Assemble components accurately, thoroughly, and quickly according to approved specifications.
• Verify connections for quality and compliance with specifications, and record discrepancies in the assembly log.
• Understand and follow safety guidelines for the manufacturing floor and assembly stations.
