The Assembler covers assembly, bearing cap fitting, and deburring within crankcase manufacturing. The role combines mounting and joining components on the crankcase, matching and securing bearing caps to the main bearing positions, and performing manual deburring and finishing, together with independent inspection of completed work to ensure consistent part quality and a stable production flow. With this attractive opportunity you will get a chance to: Pick and assemble components on the crankcase, such as cylinder liners, closure covers, and related parts, according to work instructions. Mount and join components using the required tools, gauges, devices, and auxiliary materials. Match and fit bearing caps to the corresponding main bearing positions, ensuring correct orientation and seating, and mount, secure, and torque them according to specifications using the required torque equipment. Perform manual deburring and finishing, removing burrs, sharp edges, and machining residues from machined surfaces, bores, threads, and edges using hand tools and powered deburring and grinding tools, without affecting dimensional specifications. Read and interpret assembly blueprints and specification manuals and plan the assembly accordingly. Verify conformance of parts to stock lists and blueprints, using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, fixed and telescoping gauges, templates, and fixtures, and adjust according to quality control plans. Position and align components for assembly into larger mounting elements and verify parts clearances. Independently inspect completed tasks and report quality defects.
