About The Position

Assembler I fabricates component parts or assembles finished products according to customer specifications. The role secures and maintains the correct component parts and supplies required for the operation. This is a second-shift position. The hourly pay range is $19.00–$20.00, dependent on experience; the range may be adjusted based on cost of living. Incentive pay may be available for certain hourly roles and may include piece-rate incentives, weekly production bonuses, trip rates, and employee referral bonuses. A discretionary annual bonus based on company and business-unit performance may also be provided.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
No minimum experience is required.
High school diploma or GED is preferred but not required.
Working knowledge of basic math is preferred.

Six months of manufacturing and assembly experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Complete work area setup.
Fit parts together according to prescribed instructions and quality standards.
Operate hand tools as required to complete assembly.
Stack completed products according to established procedures and, when required, cover, label, and band components or finished products.
Ensure the work area is safe, clean, and organized, and equipment is safe to operate.
Complete the pre-shift equipment startup inspection checklist and report problems or concerns.
Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
Maintain production records as required.
Check materials and finished products for compliance with standards.
Perform duties consistent with established safety and quality procedures, rules, and standards.
Participate in safety, continuous improvement (CI), and other programs and meetings.
Perform other duties as assigned.
