About The Position

The Assembler at Donaldson’s Nicholasville, Kentucky location works collaboratively to assemble Industrial Air Filtration systems in a team-oriented environment. This is an onsite second-shift role, Monday through Thursday from 3 p.m. to 1 a.m., with a $1 shift premium.

Requirements

Ability to handle materials using forklifts, cranes, carts, or similar equipment.
Mechanical aptitude.
Quality-conscious approach to work.
Ability to read blueprints and understand verbal and written instructions.
High school diploma, GED, or prior experience.
Must be currently and legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future immigration sponsorship.

Ability to perform a variety of tasks throughout the day in a steady work environment.

Responsibilities

Gather blueprints, build sheets, parts, and hardware needed for assembly.
Use mechanical ability, work instructions, and hand tools to assemble products.
Test equipment when necessary.
Operate overhead cranes and lifting devices.
Handle and transport materials and products.
Inspect product quality and complete required paperwork.
Package and crate assembled products and load them for shipment.
Comply with DOT, HAZMAT, and environmental policies and procedures.
Participate in DPS, continuous improvement, and kaizen events.
Complete annual RCRA Hazardous Waste and DOT Hazardous Material training when applicable.
