About The Position

The Assembler assembles metal products, partially or completely, at a bench or on the shop floor by performing assigned duties. This position is with Monroe Truck Equipment, an Aebi Schmidt brand, in Monroe, Wisconsin, and works the second shift.

Requirements

• Read and execute instructions found on blueprints.
• Read and understand a tape measure.
• Perform basic math.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 45 lbs. without assistance.
• Safely use hand, air, pneumatic, and power tools, and machinery.
• Apply common-sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret assembly prints and bills of material.
• Gather and position materials and parts according to assembly documentation or verbal instructions.
• Fasten parts together with bolts, screws, speed clips, rivets, or other fasteners.
• Use and operate pneumatic, electrical, and manual hand tools.
• Report product or equipment issues to the department lead.
