About The Position

The Assembler fabricates, repairs, and assembles compressor packages according to Flogistix specifications and standards. The role primarily involves component assembly and may also include operating fabrication equipment such as airless paint sprayers, grinders, saws, drills, power tools, and hand tools. The employee may perform other duties assigned by the supervisor.

The position works both independently and integrally with other employees and reports to the Fabrication Production Manager. Work is performed at the Ft. Worth, Texas location.

Requirements

• Some understanding of painting and pipe fitting.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to use measuring devices and tools, including tape measures, squares, and levels.
• Ability to operate lifting devices, including an overhead crane, to move parts.
• Ability to work in hot or cold environments.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Ability to follow instructions and EHSS policies and procedures.
• Punctuality and a strong work ethic.
• High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate, repair, and assemble compressor packages in accordance with Flogistix specifications and standards.
• Operate fabrication equipment, including airless paint sprayers, grinders, saws, drills, power tools, and hand tools.
• Work with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency.
• Keep the shop and work area clean by performing daily housekeeping duties.
• Inspect and care for tools and work areas.
• Follow instructions from the supervisor and all EHSS policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
