Assemble light fixtures and accessories quickly and accurately while maintaining quality and meeting production demands. Performance is measured by assembly speed and the quality of finished products, with an emphasis on avoiding rework and quality returns. The work includes using a compressed-air rivet gun, applying silicone, fitting parts, cleaning and bagging finished products, and occasionally spray painting, sand blasting, or polishing parts. The assembler follows work orders, assembly schematics, and area-specific safety guidelines; keeps the workspace and assigned tools clean and orderly; and cross-trains and works in different production areas as workload requires. The role requires the ability to sit and/or stand at a workstation for eight hours, with breaks, and occasionally bend, stoop, and twist. Repetitive work may be performed for two to four hours at a time. Manual dexterity and constant use of the hands to assemble products with manual and power tools are required. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with two paid 15-minute breaks and a full unpaid lunch hour. Overtime may be worked when needed based on workload. Pay is $19 per hour, negotiable based on skill set and experience. The employer is a Florida Drug Free Workplace and requires a pre-employment 10-panel drug screen and participation in quarterly random screening; employment is conditional on passing the pre-employment screening.
