About The Position

The incumbent will assist with a variety of tasks to support the production process. Responsibilities can include a variety of tasks such as grinding, buffing, painting, packing, loading and unloading and operating tools, equipment and machinery.

Requirements

  • Completion of secondary school or equivalent
  • Safety and quality conscious
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to follow detailed written and verbal instruction
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in manufacturing environment in an asset
  • Experience in manufacturing environment is an asset

Responsibilities

  • Use of handheld tools such as grinders and wire wheels
  • Use of handheld and functional gauges to ensure product quality when required
  • Inspecting parts as per the final product verification (FPV) and work order instructions
  • Packaging and allocating parts as per standard work instructions
  • Maintaining a clean and safe work area using the principles of 5S
  • Adherence to the company’s policy and procedures
  • Working in a fast-paced environment
