About The Position

PACE Supply’s Groundwater Division is seeking a motivated and reliable Assembler to join our Build Center in Fresno, CA. This role is responsible for assembling and preparing a variety of pump systems and components for distribution, ensuring quality, accuracy, and safety throughout the process. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and eager to learn, with the ability to work in a fast-paced production environment. While training will be provided, prior mechanical or assembly experience is a plus. This is a great opportunity to build a long-term career with a growing company.

Requirements

  • High school diploma/GED or equivalent preferred
  • Previous assembly, mechanical, or manufacturing experience preferred
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand and power tools
  • Ability to read and follow instructions, blueprints, and diagrams
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as standing, bending, and lifting throughout the shift
  • Dependable with strong attendance and work ethic
  • Forklift experience is a plus (or willingness to be trained)
  • Basic knowledge and proper use of the English language, including reading, writing, and oral communications.
  • Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors)
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
  • Flexibility to operate and self-driven to excel in a fast-paced environment.
  • Capable of multi-tasking, highly organized, with excellent time management skills
  • Detail oriented with excellent follow up practices.

Nice To Haves

  • Forklift experience is a plus (or willingness to be trained)

Responsibilities

  • Perform back filing and balancing of impellers to ensure proper fit and performance
  • Build and assemble skids for crating and shipment
  • Paint and tag components accurately according to specifications
  • Set up and assemble centrifugal pumps, submersible turbines, vertical turbines, and short set line shaft turbines
  • Follow work instructions, blueprints, and specifications to ensure quality assembly
  • Inspect parts and completed assemblies for accuracy and quality standards
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals and deadlines
  • Participate in training to develop product knowledge and assembly skills
