About The Position

The Assembler is responsible for building and assembling generator set units, enclosures and related components in a shop environment. This role works directly with production, engineering, and operations to assemble quality products safely, efficiently, and on schedule. The ideal candidate is hands-on, dependable, and comfortable working with tools, drawings, and physical tasks.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Prior experience using hand tools and common shop tools required
• Mechanically inclined with a willingness to learn new skills
• Dependable, productive, and able to work effectively as part of a team
• Strong communication and basic interpersonal skills
• Must provide personal hand tools
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and regularly climb ladders and stairs
• Valid driver’s license required (motor vehicle report required for final candidate)

Nice To Haves

• Ability to read and understand engineering or shop drawings preferred

Responsibilities

• Assemble generator set packages, enclosures and packaged components using hand tools, shop equipment, and material-handling devices.
• Perform basic electrical and mechanical assembly work per drawings and work instructions.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and assembly documentation.
• Work closely with production supervisors to meet build schedules and quality expectations.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area and follow all safety requirements.
• Support general shop and warehouse tasks as needed
