About The Position

The Assembler produces components for Metalcraft’s SCAG family of products by assembling parts and subassemblies. The role reports to the Assembly Manager. The position is listed for the 1st shift at the Fall River, Wisconsin facility. On-the-job training is available.

Requirements

Previous experience with light electrical assembly and/or heavy equipment assembly; training is available.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work efficiently in a team and coordinate work with other departments.
Ability to take direction and execute it efficiently.
High school degree, diploma, or GED equivalent from an accredited institution.
Demonstrated attention to detail, self-motivation, and ability to multitask.
Good finger and hand dexterity.

Responsibilities

Position parts and subassemblies using templates or by reading measurements.
Assemble components by checking connections for correct fit and fastening parts and subassemblies.
Verify specifications by measuring completed components.
Maintain a safe and clean working environment by following procedures, rules, and regulations.
Maintain supplies inventory by checking stock levels, anticipating supply needs, placing and expediting orders, and verifying receipt of supplies.
Conserve resources by using equipment and supplies as needed.
Document actions by completing production and quality forms.
Contribute to the team by completing related work as needed.
Ensure compliance with corporate and plant safety standards.
Perform other duties as assigned.
