About The Position

Hog Slat, Inc., the world’s leading provider of parts, equipment, and turn-key construction to the swine & poultry industries, is seeking an Assembler with excellent reasoning and mathematical skills to join the team at our Clinton, NC Manufacturing location.

Requirements

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on a daily basis.

Responsibilities

• Positions parts according to knowledge of unit being assembled or following blueprints.
• Fastens parts together with bolts, screws, speed clips, rivets or other fasteners.
• Removes small quantities of metal with hand files and scrapers to produce close fit between parts.
• Operates drill presses, pneumatic and hard tools or riveting machines to assist in assembly operations.
• Adhere to all safety procedures.
