About The Position

Nesco Resource is hiring a Large Assembly worker in Danbury, Connecticut. This is a temp-to-perm position for the right candidates. The role supports the production team and assembly departments by helping ensure efficient processes. The large assembly department assembles larger items in a fast-paced environment that requires frequent heavy lifting. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 3:30 p.m. to midnight, with pay of $20.25 per hour.

Requirements

Previous assembly experience.
Mechanical skills.
Ability to lift 40 pounds throughout an entire shift.
High school diploma or GED.
Strong time-management skills and ability to multitask.
Ability to work under strict deadlines.
Ability to read and interpret assembly instructions.
Excellent attention to detail.
Good hand-eye coordination.
Average dexterity.
Ability to operate manufacturing equipment and simple electronic test equipment.

Responsibilities

Complete assembly tasks as assigned, including complex assembly operations and special assembly tasks.
Complete necessary rework assembly.
Accurately pick parts for outbound orders.
Package subcomponents and finished products according to production orders.
Inspect instructions and drawings.
Mount subcomponent items.
Work effectively within a team environment.
Complete computer or administrative duties as assigned.
Coordinate shipping arrangements.
Complete other duties as assigned.
