About The Position

As an Assembler / Sequencer, you will help keep production moving by assembling, sequencing, inspecting, and preparing products according to work instructions, quality standards, and safety requirements. This hands-on role is suited to someone dependable, safety-minded, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced team environment. The role is based at Voltava Lake Orion. The assigned production shift may change based on customer requirements; schedule adjustments will be communicated as far in advance as practicable. Travel is not required. A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Previous manufacturing experience is valued, but willingness to learn, a strong work ethic, and commitment to safety and quality are also important. Requirements

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in automotive manufacturing, assembly, sequencing, or production.
Experience with standardized work instructions, quality inspections, or production targets.
Familiarity with 5S, lean manufacturing, or continuous improvement practices.
Experience using automation or material-handling equipment.
Previous manufacturing experience; willingness to learn, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to safety and quality are also valued.

Responsibilities

Assemble, sequence, and inspect products in a fast-paced manufacturing environment according to standardized work instructions, quality standards, and customer requirements.
Verify correct parts, quantities, and sequence to support accurate, on-time delivery.
Safely operate assigned production and material-handling equipment after completing required training and authorization.
Meet daily production requirements while maintaining quality control; identify defects or discrepancies and promptly communicate concerns.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in accordance with housekeeping and 5S practices.
Follow safety procedures, work instructions, and company policies, and maintain awareness of surroundings while focused on production activities.
Collaborate with Team Members and leadership to achieve safety, quality, productivity, and delivery goals.
Share ideas and participate in continuous improvement activities, including Kaizen events, to improve processes, efficiency, and the workplace.
Meet assigned work schedules and operational requirements, with schedule flexibility and overtime or weekend availability when production needs require it.
