About The Position

As an Assembler / Sequencer at Voltava, you will help keep production moving by assembling, sequencing, inspecting, and preparing products according to work instructions, quality standards, customer requirements, and safety requirements. This hands-on role is suited to a dependable, safety-minded, detail-oriented person comfortable working in a fast-paced team environment. The role is based at Voltava Lake Orion. Team members work an assigned production shift, and hours may change in response to customer requirements. Schedule adjustments will be communicated as far in advance as practicable. No travel is required. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and the ability to perform essential physical functions, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Requirements

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in automotive manufacturing, assembly, sequencing, or production.
Experience with standardized work instructions, quality inspections, or production targets.
Familiarity with 5S, lean manufacturing, or continuous improvement practices.
Experience using automation or material-handling equipment.
A strong work ethic and commitment to safety and quality; prior manufacturing experience is valued, but willingness to learn is also emphasized.

Responsibilities

Assemble, sequence, and inspect products in a fast-paced manufacturing environment according to standardized work instructions, quality standards, and customer requirements.
Verify parts, quantities, and sequence to support accurate, on-time delivery.
Safely operate assigned production and material-handling equipment after required training and authorization.
Meet daily production requirements while maintaining quality; identify defects or discrepancies and promptly communicate concerns.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in accordance with housekeeping and 5S practices.
Follow safety procedures, work instructions, and company policies, and remain focused and aware of surroundings during production activities.
Collaborate with Team Members and leadership to achieve safety, quality, productivity, and delivery goals.
Share ideas and participate in continuous improvement activities, including Kaizen events.
Meet assigned work schedules and operational requirements, including schedule adjustments when necessary to meet customer production needs.
Work required overtime or weekends based on production needs, when applicable.
