About The Position

The Assembler/Sequencer operates production line equipment, finishes products, and reports equipment or workstation issues to a direct supervisor. The role involves hands-on, day-to-day technical interaction in automotive manufacturing and may require repetitive lifting, twisting, and bending in a factory setting. The position supports production and quality processes, maintains a safe and orderly work environment, and works with the team to meet production goals and customer expectations. Duties may also include handling raw materials, storing goods in the warehouse, using lifting equipment to fulfill orders, and packing goods for shipment. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Able to multitask in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Ability to interact effectively with people.
Able to work on foot for extended periods.
Be able to work any shift.
Be able to work weekends when volunteered for or required.
Be highly motivated and interested in manufacturing.
History of safe work practices.
Be a flexible team player who adapts easily to change.

Nice To Haves

At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

Assemble goods on production lines according to applicable work instructions.
Carry out basic quality and testing checks.
Maintain good housekeeping in work areas and equipment, and follow safe work practices.
Monitor the production process and assist the team in achieving production goals.
Follow production and quality systems.
Communicate information and act on it to support team decisions and improvements.
Help the team meet customer expectations.
Feed raw materials into production machinery.
Store goods and raw materials properly in the warehouse.
Use lifting equipment to fulfill orders.
Pack goods for shipment.
Report equipment or workstation issues to the direct supervisor.
Perform other duties as assigned.
