About The Position

Position Summary: Produces components by assembling parts and sub-assemblies. Maintains production and distribution of products by pulling product from inventory, delivering production materials and supplies.

Requirements

  • Effective time management and organizational skills.
  • Detail oriented and capable of multi-tasking.
  • HS Graduate or Equivalent required
  • 1+ years of assembly preferred
  • 1+ years of material handling preferred
  • 1+ years of Forklift (Reach Truck) experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Prepares work to be accomplished by gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
  • Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit, fastening parts and sub-assemblies.
  • Verifies specifications by measuring complete components.
  • Keeps equipment operational by completing preventative maintenance requirements, following manufacturer’s instructions, and troubleshooting malfunctions and calling for repairs.
  • Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Conserves resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.
  • Locates materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on production orders.
  • Maintains in-process inventory at work centers by delivering and opening materials and supplies.
  • Maintains material-handling equipment by completing pre-use inspections and making operator repairs.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
