Nice To Haves

  • 2+ years’ experience working in a manufacturing environment, preferably in light to heavy assembly operations

Responsibilities

  • Perform a wide range of assembly functions to build manual clamps using different machines (Riveters, grinders, etc).
  • Assemble components that may have rigid tolerance requirements as well as intricate assembly operations and processes.
  • Follow written and verbal work instructions precisely.
  • Distinguish and identify proper tooling needs for assembly and testing.
  • Perform work that may include routine/repetitive assembly operations and processes that will range from moderately to very complicated.
  • Use fixtures, equipment, and a variety of hand/power tools.
  • Assemble component parts in a timely and professional fashion, while maintaining quality standards.
  • Complete necessary paperwork including routers, inspection sheets, scrap reports and non-conformances.
  • Pack and palletize products as well as create and affix labels and tags to assemblies.
  • Perform all functions in the department and be willing to rotate between different cells within the assembly department.
  • Operate within acceptable defect rates.
  • Make minor adjustments to assembly practices based on quality measurements.
  • Identify when preventative maintenance is needed on assigned equipment.
  • Perform basic math including working with decimal numbers, ability to use a scale, and problem-solving.
  • Advise supervisor of conduct that may violate rules, policies, and procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned.
