International Motors Huntsville Powertrain Plant is seeking Assemblers to join our growing team! At International, this isn’t just a job—it’s a role that drives our success every day. Fabricate and assemble engines, transmissions and aftertreatment components for diesel commercial trucks. Emphasis on quality, accuracy, and attention to detail.

Requirements

  • No minimum qualifications
  • Qualified candidates, excluding current employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States.
  • We do not anticipate providing employment related work sponsorship for this position (e.g., H-1B status)
  • Ability to walk, stand, sit, bend, twist/turn, kneel, squat, crawl up to 10 hours per shift
  • Ability to climb using both legs and arms
  • Ability to use head/neck movement
  • Ability to reach outward or above the shoulder
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull 15-45 pounds
  • Ability to use repetitive use of hands and fingers
  • Ability to use vibrating tools
  • Must be willing to work any shift

Responsibilities

  • Obtain incoming components and assemble products according to process instructions, performing all necessary gauge verifications.
  • Perform duties to maintain quality and productivity standards.
  • Replace or assist others as needed to meet uptime objectives.
  • Actively participate in the work group and business team.
  • Strive for continual improvement and focus on process optimization.
  • Instruct, assist, and direct others as required.
  • Ensure compliance with process instructions, PFMEA, and Control Plans; notify group leader of any deviations.
  • Accept accountability for achieving goals and planning strategies.
