As a Level II Assembler, you'll perform routine assembly and packaging work using standard work, production documentation, and established quality requirements. You’ll continue to build product and process knowledge while supporting safe, reliable, and efficient production flow. In this role, you’ll operate assigned assembly equipment, complete basic changeovers or setup activities with limited support, identify routine issues, and follow escalation practices when additional help is needed. You’ll be expected to maintain quality, productivity, safety, documentation accuracy, and teamwork in daily operations.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Assembly experience or demonstrated ability to follow work instructions, standard work, and production documentation.
  • Ability to operate assigned assembly equipment and complete routine production tasks independently.
  • Ability to recognize functional and cosmetic defects and communicate concerns appropriately.
  • Ability to use SAP, qualification reports, and other production systems to support traceability and documentation.
  • Demonstrated reliability, accountability, customer focus, teamwork, communication, and flexibility.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous precision assembly, manufacturing, or production experience.
  • Experience completing in-process inspections or using basic measuring tools.
  • Experience supporting basic setup, changeover, or daily equipment checks.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine assembly and packaging tasks using standard work and production documentation.
  • Operate designated assembly equipment safely and effectively.
  • Complete basic setup, changeover, and equipment checks with limited guidance.
  • Verify components, traceability information, part orientation, and material flow requirements.
  • Perform in-process inspections and identify functional or cosmetic defects.
  • Recognize routine production or quality issues and communicate concerns to the appropriate resource.
  • Complete daily production, quality, SAP, and cell documentation accurately.
  • Maintain safety, housekeeping, productivity, and teamwork standards within the work area.
  • Support balanced workflow and contribute ideas for basic process improvements.
  • Consistently display competencies that align to and uphold Swagelok's core values.
