About The Position

As an Assembler - Level 1 here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in assembling components and products with precision and attention to detail, ensuring quality and efficiency in our manufacturing processes. You will report directly to our Production Supervisor and you’ll work out of our Columbus, OH location on an On-site work schedule. In this role, you will impact the overall production quality and throughput by accurately assembling parts, following work instructions, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives on the manufacturing floor.

Requirements

Minimum 1 year of experience in assembly or manufacturing environments with a focus on quality and efficiency.
Ability to read and interpret work instructions and assembly drawings accurately.
1 year of Soldering Experience preferably on a smaller scale
Strong attention to detail to ensure product quality and adherence to standards.
Knowledge of safety procedures and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
Candidate must be a U.S. person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent.
IPC Certifications
Good manual dexterity and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Perform assembly tasks according to defined procedures and work instructions to ensure product quality and consistency.
Inspect components and assemblies for defects and report any issues to the supervisor promptly.
Maintain a clean and organized work area adhering to safety and quality standards.
