We’re looking for an Assembler III responsible for preparing and assembling the product at our Griffin, Georgia facility. This individual will be responsible for training, mentoring and assessing other assemblers while exhibiting the highest level of execution and behavior expected of EPD employees.

Requirements

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing and heavy-duty assembly environment.
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics, and written work instructions.
  • Working knowledge of hand tools and power tools, including hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical equipment.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to perform physical job requirements that include frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, twisting, turning, climbing, and standing on concrete for extended periods of time.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in equipment and/or heavy-duty assembly.
  • Experience reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics.
  • Experience working in a quality-focused manufacturing environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Rigging, crane, power vehicle, or other manufacturing equipment experience and certifications.
  • Experience performing product testing, troubleshooting, or inspection activities.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare components for assembly.
  • Assemble parts according to work instructions, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), blueprints, risk assessments, and job routers.
  • Assemble high-quality products while adhering to safety, quality, and efficiency standards.
  • Perform assembly, inspection, testing, and troubleshooting activities as required.
  • Operate overhead cranes, powered industrial vehicles, and other equipment in accordance with established procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area to support a safe working environment.
  • Train and support team members in assembly processes and procedures.
  • Complete assembly processes and product preparation activities as required.
  • Complete required documentation and verify quality requirements are met.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and cross-functional partners.
