We’re looking for an Assembler III responsible for preparing and assembling the product at our Griffin, Georgia facility. This individual will be responsible for training, mentoring and assessing other assemblers while exhibiting the highest level of execution and behavior expected of EPD employees.

Requirements

Ability to read and understand written work instructions.
Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing and heavy-duty assembly environment.
Working knowledge of hand tools and power tools, including hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical equipment.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Ability to perform physical job requirements that include frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, twisting, turning, climbing, and standing on concrete for extended periods of time.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience in equipment and/or heavy-duty assembly.
Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics.
Power vehicle experience and certifications.
Experience working in a quality-focused manufacturing environment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.

Responsibilities

Prepare components for assembly.
Assemble parts according to work instructions, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), blueprints, risk assessments, and job routers.
Assemble high-quality products while adhering to safety, quality, and efficiency standards.
Maintain a clean and organized work area to support a safe working environment.
Train and support team members in assembly processes and procedures.
Perform final assembly, inspection, and finishing activities, including cleaning, panel installation, labeling, and product presentation preparation prior to shipment.
Complete required product documentation and verify all parts, quality inspections, and shipping requirements have been satisfied before release.
Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and cross-functional partners.
