About The Position

Under general supervision, the Assembler II assembles various components, including sub-assemblies, manual, and electrical parts, to complete a range of products. This role involves preparing and processing electrical and mechanical components using fine motor skills, following process work instructions and test procedures, and ensuring quality through monitoring and documentation. Responsibilities also include adhering to production build rates and cycle times, interacting with manufacturing systems via computers, and preparing products for shipment according to domestic, international, or customer specifications. The position requires the use of various tools and involves set-ups, work preparation, clean up, and quality assurance of one's own work and area. Responsibilities

  • Under general supervision, assembles components that may include sub-assemblies, manual components and electrical components and all other related components to contribute to completion of a variety of products.
  • Prepare and process electrical and mechanical components for assigned product lines using fine motor skills
  • Work from process work instructions and test procedures to complete tasks along with monitoring and recording related documentation to meet quality requirements
  • Follow production build rates, schedules and meet required cycle times
  • Interface with manufacturing systems using computers or other electronic devices as required
  • Assemble cartons and containers and prepare products for shipment in accordance with domestic, international and/or customer specifications
  • Uses a variety of tools that may include, but are not limited to: manual and power hand tools, pneumatic tools, test equipment, presses, and measuring and cutting devices
  • Responsible for set-ups, work preparation, clean up, and quality assurance of own work and work-area
  • Meet work schedule and overtime requirements, including weekends
