About The Position

Under general supervision, the Assembler I assembles various components, including sub-assemblies, manual components, and electrical components, to contribute to the completion of a variety of products. This role involves preparing and processing electrical and mechanical components for assigned product lines. The Assembler I works from process work instructions and test procedures to complete tasks, monitoring and recording related documentation to meet quality requirements. They are expected to follow production build rates, schedules, and meet required cycle times, as well as interface with manufacturing systems using computers or other electronic devices as needed. The position requires the use of a variety of tools, such as manual and power hand tools, pneumatic tools, test equipment, presses, and measuring and cutting devices. Responsibilities also include set-ups, work preparation, clean up, and quality assurance of their own work and work-area. The role requires meeting work schedules and overtime requirements, including weekends, and the ability to lift/carry 10-50 lbs. frequently, and rarely 50-75 lbs., depending on the product line.
