About The Position

The Assembler II supports production targets by following established systems and processes. This onsite role is part of ABB’s Smart Power Business Unit in Senatobia, Mississippi, and reports to the Production Supervisor. The work involves using machinery and equipment on the shop floor and reading and interpreting technical diagrams and assembly instructions for products, systems, and panels. The role conducts assembly work to produce semi-finished or finished products, systems, or panels, including packing when integrated with production lines. Work may be performed manually or with light hand tools. The assembler also performs regular quality testing within defined production processes, follows standard operating procedures, and maintains a clean work area.

Requirements

0–3 months of experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
High school diploma or certificate.
Ability to communicate in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

Conduct assembly work to produce semi-finished or finished products, systems, or panels, including packing when integrated with production lines.
Perform work manually or with light hand tools.
Carry out regular quality testing as part of a defined production process.
Follow standard operating procedures and maintain a clean work area.
Use shop-floor machinery and equipment and interpret technical diagrams and assembly instructions.
