About The Position

The Assembler II supports the unit in achieving production targets by following established systems and processes. The role is onsite in ABB’s Smart Power Business Unit in Senatobia, Mississippi, and reports to the Production Supervisor. The position uses shop-floor machinery and equipment and requires reading and interpreting technical diagrams and assembly instructions for products, systems, or panels. Responsibilities include assembling semi-finished or finished products, systems, or panels; packing items when packing is integrated with production lines; performing manual work or using light hand tools; conducting regular quality testing as part of a defined production process; following standard operating procedures; and maintaining a clean work area.

Requirements

High school diploma or certificate required.
0–6 months of experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
Ability to communicate in English and Spanish.
Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and assembly instructions.

Responsibilities

Assemble semi-finished or final products, systems, or panels, including packing when integrated with production lines.
Perform assembly work manually or with light hand tools.
Conduct regular quality testing as part of a defined production process.
Follow standard operating procedures and maintain a clean work area.
Use shop-floor machinery and equipment and read and interpret technical diagrams and assembly instructions.
